How long will my campaign run?

Pausing or changing the url of a traffic campaign and then restarting moves that campaign to the end of the traffic queue and the delivery time is extended. What if my server goes down?
We cannot be held liable in these cases. Please be sure that your server can handle the actual number of visits before purchasing. However, in the occurrence of a server outage or some other foreseeable problem, you can always just put your campaign on pause until the problem is fixed. WHAT IS DOES THE TERM "POPUNDER" OR "POP-UNDER" MEAN?

WHAT DOES CPM MEAN?

CPM is the way we calculate the cost of your campaign. CPM means cost per thousand (the M is Roman Numeral for 1000). For example, $2 CPM indicates a price of $2 per thousand. (To determine the cost of your campaign, divide the quantity by 1000, and multiply by the CPM cost. (ie. if it is $2.00 CPM and you order 10000 visitors, take (10000/1000=10), so an order of 10,000 at $2.00 CPM would be 10 x $2.00= $20.00.

WHAT DOES HIT MEAN?

Technically a hit occurs when a file is loaded from a web server. Several hits will occur when a web page is loaded – e.g. one hit for each image on the page and one hit for the page itself. In common usage, however, people are referring to visits when they use the term hit. We follow the common usage and mean the term "Visit" when we say "Hit" on this site.

WHAT DOES VISIT MEAN?

A Visit occurs when someone loads a web page from our server thus “visiting” one of our advertiser's websites. The number of hits will always be equal to or greater than the number of visits.

WHAT DOES UNIQUE MEAN?

1,000 visits could be achieved by having one person load a page 1,000 times or by having 1,000 people load a page one time. If visits are unique, a single user is counted only once in a certain period of time. Usually, a level of uniqueness is specified such as: “12 hour unique” – that is, the same user is only counted once every X hours. Most commonly, traffic is 12 or 24 hour or campaign unique. Campaign unique means that the visitor is only counted once during the entire term of the traffic campaign. The degree of uniqueness is one of the major determining factors in price. That is, the more unique the traffic,the higher the price. Usually, a user is identified by his/her IP address, which is unique to every computer on the internet. In some cases, the determination of whether a hit is unique depends on the server’s ability to store a small identifying file on a visitor’s computer (a “cookie”).

WHAT DOES MAINSTREAM TRAFFIC MEAN?

When we use the term Mainstream Traffic on this site we are referring to the typical or normal Internet traffic with no specified geographical or category visitor intended. WHAT DOES BULK or RAW TRAFFIC MEAN?

When we say Bulk Traffic we are referring to traffic with no specified level of uniqueness. The same user could be counted several times if he/she reloads the campaign page. On average, bulk traffic is 50-75% unique. In addition, that traffic can come from several different sources and is generally excess traffic that has been generated by a traffic network and not sold at a higher price. WHAT DOES RON MEAN?

RON is the abbreviation for Run of Network. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO USE MAINSTREAM RON TRAFFIC FOR MY CUSTOMER?

Many resellers sell large quantities of traffic to customers, and there is nothing wrong with that except when you expect to deliver 100,000 or 250,000 etc. in a relatively short period of time. WHAT DOES THE TIME PERIOD EXPRESSED AS A NUMBER OF DAYS MEAN?

All Mainstream RON traffic should be set at 360 days. This does not mean that the campaign will not be completed for 360 days. But if you set a smaller number, like 30 days, what it does mean is that after 30 days of the campaign is not completed it will stop. The Period or number of days does not determine how fast traffic will be delivered. All it does is stop the traffic at a set number of days if the total number has NOT been completed. Think of like this, if you had a 10,000 Mainstream RON Campaign set at 30 days and the total number of visits was not completed in 30 days, then the campaign will stop anyway because you effectively said send as many visits as you can, or stop after 30 days, whichever comes first.

HOW CAN POPUNDERS BE TARGETED?

Unlike 3rd party counters, we don't have any load time to worry about. There are an enormous amount of counters with various load rates and it is impossible to accommodate each customer's counter. For example, some counters take as much as 30 seconds to count a visitor (some even more). We cannot control the behavior of the user/surfer, or force them to stay on the site a certain length of time. If they choose to 'close out' prior to your counter load, it is still considered a delivered visitor. This is how we are charged by the networks that supply traffic, which leaves no other option but to charge our customers in the same manner.
